Programme Info
Stratford Escape is a weekly art group for adults 16+ of all ages and abilities. We work with professional artists on projects based around Escape’s heritage work and community activities.
We meet every Wednesday morning at the Old Slaughterhouse and Heritage Centre, Stratford upon Avon from 11am until 1pm. We are a friendly and fun group and we are always looking for new members to join this project.
Our past projects have included working with artist Ali Allen to produce our favourite book covers for Shakespeare’s official birthday cake in 2018, creating textile birds with artist Zara Day supporting Escape’s Call the Midwife exhibition and creating abstract ceramic disks based on petri dishes with artist Ros Ingram.
Stratford Escape invites a £5 a session donation, which is inclusive of tea, coffee and biscuits! Trial sessions are free for people to have a go before joining formally.
Booking is essential to ensure we are compliant with our risk assessments.
