Festivals & Events

Escape Arts is involved in lots of community events across Warwickshire, where our multimedia van acts as a creative hub offering free arts activities for festival goers.

Our aim is to reach out to as many people as possible, to raise awareness of our services and ultimately welcome new members to our community groups & projects.

All activities are free for families and individuals to enjoy.

Commission us for your festival or event

Our current festival & events programme for 2024

Stratford Pursuits Festival (May): This is a brand-new free festival in Stratford-upon-Avon celebrating the arts, sports & wellbeing. We will be attending and will provide free arts activities for the whole family!
Volunteers Week (June): Programme of events celebrating our incredible volunteers across the county during the first week of June. We will also be taking part in local recruitment events with our community partners, so if you’re thinking of joining us, come and have a chat! Keep an eye on our social media channels for updates.
Nuneaton Carnival (June): Annual free community festival in Nuneaton celebrating the town and local culture. Our creative activities are based on their annual theme and this year’s theme is Around the World!
Warwickshire Open Studios (June-July): Annual exhibition at the Escape Arts & Heritage Centre, showcasing work created by our community groups across the county. The exhibition is open for two weeks and often goes on tour to visit North Warwickshire at The Station Gallery. Keep an eye on our social media channels for updates!
Warwickshire Pride Festival (August): Warwickshire Pride Festival celebrates LGBTQ+ culture and raises awareness of the injustices the community still faces around the world. We always look forward to Warwickshire Pride Festival every year where we provide free creative activities that celebrate identity and pride.

You can also commission us to deliver a creative activity at your festival or event. At previous festivals, we have been commissioned to deliver creative workshops, short craft activities and even to create a large piece of public art with festival goers.
