Our 2023 Digital Review

We are delighted to share Escape Arts 2023 Digital Review. 2023 has been by far the most challenging year for Escape Arts as we continue to respond to the cost-of-living crisis and its impact on our communities.

Navigating uncertain times

Like many charities, we are seeing rising costs and greater competition for diminishing grant support. However, the dedication of our staff team, Volunteers and Trustees and incredible local support has enabled us to navigate these uncertain times and help over 3000 people this year.

One of our proudest moments of 2023 was finding a new venue for the universal youth project and being part of Stratford Youth Collective, working with ILEAP, Warwickshire Pride, New Meaning and Lifespace to secure the future of youth services for the town.

We have been overwhelmed with support in-kind as we redevelop the building and are extremely grateful to the local funder support.

Ending on a high

We have ended the year with the 'Grotto-on-the-Go’ Surprise Santa deliveries. We have seen unprecedented requests for help and have supported families not just with presents but also food hampers from Stratford Foodbank and vouchers from Municipal Charities.

This project really demonstrates the power of the community coming together to support each other. This will continue to be pivotal in 2024 as we embark on vibrant new community and creative health programmes which showcase the true value and impact of arts on health and well-being.

A heartfelt thank you for everyone’s support this year, here’s to a happy and healthy 2024!
