Warwickshire's Land Girls: The Food of Love
Warwickshire's Land Girls: The Food of Love captures Escape Arts' Heritage Open Days event in 2018. The event celebrated our 2018 exhibition of the same name which interviewed eight local land girls about their experiences working on the land during World War Two. This inspired our Stratford In Stitches group to embroider their stories onto a donated wedding dress, which inspired this fabulous event. This showcases the innovative way Escape Arts collects people's stories and transforms them into an immersive and impactful experience for the whole community
