Stratford's Heritage
For 27 years, Escape Arts has been at the forefront of grassroots creative heritage projects, championing the people and places that make communities thrive. This latest venture builds on their dedication to co-created engagement, driving social change, and amplifying voices that have shaped Stratford’s identity.
The People’s Archive aims to document and celebrate the social and local history of Stratford-upon-Avon, combining research, digital archiving, and exhibitions to bring these narratives to life. Central to this project is the voice of the community, ensuring that the stories collected reflect the lived experiences of its people. By spotlighting these stories, Escape Arts seeks to create a legacy of creative heritage that nurtures a sense of belonging and supports individual wellbeing.
