Escape Music & Radio
Escape Arts has been supported by Big lottery, Children In Need, Stratford District Council and WCVYS to develop an exciting youth led radio station.
Initially the mobile unit will run from Town Square but in the future the mobile station will be delivered both at the new home of the charity The Old Slaughterhouse and on the new innovative Odyssey arts & media bus.
Technical training for young people
The radio station provides technical training for young people aged 12-25 who will manage and run their own programmes, leading broadcasting events at events and festivals across the Stratford and beyond.
Escape Arts will work with other youth charities and organisations to enable young people from a range of services to get involved and promote what they do. Alongside the technical training on the Saturday will be opportunities for younger people aged 8 plus to get involved in media led projects and also get involved in presenting and designing their own shows.

Aspire enables young people to make their own music, including tester sessions and music development workshops in song-writing, composition and performance with accomplished musicians in the field.
The project provides the tools and contacts to enable young people to research the local music industry to launch, promote and celebrate youth music in the local area.
Linked into this are professional recording opportunities and open mic nights at Stratford Picture House.

Please help them by downloading 'Wake Up The Moon' from iTunes or the Google Play Store for only 99p. All proceeds go the Children in Need.
