Escape offers inclusive and meaningful Work Experience and Youth Volunteering programmes for young people aged 14 and above. You can apply for a one week placement or choose to fulfil a required amount of hours over a number of weeks or months. You will learn about working with people, how to develop well being through arts and heritage, support local events and festivals, and even make your own Heritage Project using your existing creative skills. We also facilitate those who need volunteer hours as part of their Duke of Edinburgh and National Arts Awards and, in addition, offer the popular Lions Leadership Qualification.
Activities will include: supporting community art groups; working with children and their parents in creative workshops; working in the café and Heritage Centre; working on upcoming events and local festivals and your own personal project, inspired by your interests to form part of our living archive.
Come along, learn new skills, build your confidence and be part of a fun, friendly and professional team who will support you all the way. To find out more and get started, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
