Big Draw Project - October 2009

Led by Artist Louisa Turner throughout October sessions. The theme of our contribution was ‘A day in the life of Stratford’.

The Big Draw was a Nationwide month-long season of drawing events for people of all ages and abilities. Over 1000 venues took part, using drawing, painting and a vast range of other media to connect visitors with museum and gallery collections, urban and rural spaces – and the wider community.

Louisa was interviewed by Radio Coventry & Warwickshire on Oct 21st about Escape’s contribution to this event. The work produced has been drawn together to create a large collage of images from the work produced and is on display as part of Visual Arts Forum Exhibition at Stratford Civic Hall until January.
