Escape Arts are honored to have Actress Kate Fleetwood and Director Rupert Goold as Patrons to our Youth Arts Work and David Bradley the Patron to our Adult Work.
Kate Fleetwood was raised near Stratford upon Avon. She was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in Chichester Fesitval Theatre's Macbeth which transferred to the West End and Broadway.
She was nominated for an Olivier Award for her performance as Julie, in the groundbreaking new musical, London Road at the National Theatre. Kate portrayed Mary Cattermole in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and is currently starring in High Society at The Old Vic. Picture by RSC/Keith Pattison
Rupert Goold is a theatre director. He is the artistic director of the Almeida Theatre and is an Associate Director for the RSC. Picture by RSC/Ellie Kurttz.
David Bradley is local to Stratford-upon-Avon and best known for playing Argus Filch in the Harry Potter film series and Walder Frey in the HBO series Game of Thrones, though he is also an established stage actor with a career that includes a Laurence Olivier Award for his role in a production of King Lear.
Kate visited the youth music project during 2010 and worked with young people developing song-writing and performance skills, work led by Kate's sister and our truely talented Trustee Marion Morgan.
Kate and Rupert will also be doing a welcome broadcast for the opening of The Old Slaughterhouse with a follow up visit by David shortly afterwards. We look forward to showing you around.
